Is it Code compliant to install the FP's disconnect (sized per LRA) and (12.47kV to 480V) xfmr in a campus, loop fed, substation that provides normal power (via integral 12.47kV to 480V xfmr) to one of the buildings on campus? The FP tap would be made ahead of the substation's primary/loop fusing, within the same enclosure. The disconnect will be lockable per 695.4(B)(3)(a)(2).
The exception under 695.4(B)(3)(a) states "For a multibuilding campus-style complex(s) installed under the provisions of 695.3(C), only the
requirements in 695.4(B)(3)(a)(2) shall apply for normal power source disconnects"
Just want to make sure I'm not misinterpreting the Code. TIA
