A fire pump is supplied by 2 sources:
1) Generator: OCP and wire are sized to 125% of FP HP rating. The breaker is installed in an em/ls panel also feeding other em/s loads.
2) Campus utility: Direct tap on the load size of the (campus fed) building's 480/277V main board with wire sized to 125% of HP rating. The tap is located in the section of the board with other distribution breakers.
The connection on the generator side seems acceptable, but the utility side would seem to need a OCP to the FP's LRC and located ahead of the building's main breaker to be code compliant.
