No, but there may be an issue with the neutral and with a ground electrode and possible grounded conductor to ground conductor bond at the alternate power source (e.g. generator). The details of that would depend on whether the ATS transferred the neutral (Separately Derived System) or left the neutrals solidly connected (non-SDS).Not an expert on firepumps, but I see nothing in article 695 requiring any change in grounding.
I'm led to believe that it should be bonded to the building grounding system to eliminate shock potential differences between equipment.
An ATS wouldn't ever transfer the ground anyways!
Does fire pump controller/ats need a separate grounding or it must be bonded to the building grounding system?
