Fire pump controllers

I have a fire pump located in the same room as my main service, my question is do i need MI or other rated cable for the controller since its in the same room

695.6 (E) All wiring from the controllers to the pump motors shall be in rigid metal conduit, intermediate metal conduit, liquidtight flexible conduit, or liquidtight flexible conduit Type LFNC-B, or Type MI cable.
I would look at 110.34 (F) Protection of Service equipment, Metal-Enclosed Power Switchgear, and Industrial Control Assemblies. See if you think it applies to having a fire pump in the same room as the main service equipment.

If the conductors to the fire pump controller are a service, then they have be outside the building or 2 hour fire rated (695.6 A) The conductors from the controller to the fire pump from the controller are installed per 695.5 B
