Fire Pump Multiple Sources

I have a fire pump with two sources. The first is the Utility service drop upstream of the disconnect, and the second is a standby generator with plenty of capacity. I know that a tap ahead of the on-site generator disconnecting means is not required, but is it OK to feed it from the same panel that is supplied from the generator ATS?

This depends on what the panel is supplying and how the AHJ has deemed the fire pump.

1. Has the fire pump been deemed as part of an "emergency system"?

2. Is the panel supplied by the generator part of an "emergency system"?

Wow! Thanks for the quick response.

1. The fire pump is for a fire sprinkler system in a school.
2. The panel backed up by the generator feeds some domestic water pumps, (also for the school).
