Fire Pump Rated ATS

I have a location with an existing Fire Pump Controller and Pump in a remote location. I need to install a Fire Rated ATS close to a New Generator & FPL Vault (away from F.P.C.) but spacing is an issue. Can the Fire Rated ATS be installed outdoors (it is a Firetrol FTA903/953) next to the vault (Obviously with a N3R enclosure) ??!!

How remote is remote?

695.12 Equipment Location.
(A) Controllers and Transfer Switches. Electric motor-driven fire pump controllers and power transfer switches shall be located as close as practicable to, and within sight of, the motors that they control.

Is practicable a word?
 
It's about 150' away. At that location there is a Fire Pump Controller with the pump. We are installaing a Generator and a separate transfer switch (Fire Rated) and bringing to it the existing Pump feeders, The Generator Feeders and The new separate feed from FPL. The problem is that there is not enough space to install the Firetrol ATS. The only location available is an outside wall next to the Vault (Aprx. 150' from the actual F.Pump location)
I'm not quite sure as to whether NFPA 20 allows it.
