I have fire pump tapped ahead of the main service disconnects in switchboard compartment line side of
MLO service switchboard. The switchboard already has six service disconnects and the seventh one would be the fire pump service disconnect.

Of course the seventh fire pump service disconnect is remote from the six service disconnects in switchboard

The question is I dont see NEC 2017 section 230.71(A) fire pump service disconnect does not count as service disconnect for two to six.

So is fire pump disconnect counted as two to six service disconnects or not? So seventh one is allowed or it should be total six?

IMO, 230.40 Exception #5, as mentiomned in 230.71, allows the separate location fire pump disconnect as the 7th,

How did you figure the line side conductors are another set of service entrance conductors? Please See attached sketch

Based on the Code references I provided.
Read them, form your own opinion or perhaps others will comment.
I'm out ! My "sting" timer just ran out of sand :)

By default since not exempted by 230.71(A), I would agree that the fire pump disconnecting means probably counts as the 7th disconnecting means...

230.72(B) would allow for even more than 7 total service disconnects as long as the additional ones are in a separate enclosure. We typically have about 9 or 10.
