I have an installation where the utility is providing a dedicated 480V service for a fire pump the fuse is required to be 1000A (6xFLA) and my conductors are required to be 125% but does the fact that this is now a service entrance conductor effect the size of the incoming feeders?

. . . does the fact that this is now a service entrance conductor effect the size of the incoming feeders?
No. It may help to conceptualize fire pump installations in this manner. Size everything the same as you would for a motor installation. Then, up-size the overcurrent protection only to permit locked rotor to be held for an indefinite period. This is a general statement but the concept is sound. Also, if the controller is SUSE rated, you are not required to provide overcurrent protection since it is integral with the controller. :)
