Fire Pump Service

I would appreciate some input relative fire service from a generator. I have attached a preliminary partial one line diagram. It's my understanding the OCPD from the generator shall be sized per the LRC of the 200hp FP (1450amps) or 1600amp CB not the 600ampere as shown. Is that correct?

The feeder conductors are required to be sized at 125% of the FLA of the 200hp motor.

Your thoughts are appreciated.

The generator is not required to supply locked rotor current, only enough to start and run. On a side note, the generator must be large enough to handle all loads including the fire pump, or have a load shed capacity when the pump is started.
