It appears that NEC 695.5 covers a situation when the "system voltage" (incoming utility voltage), is different than the "utilization voltage" (fire pump voltage), thus needing a xfmr., is this correct ?
If the incoming utility voltage is the same as the fire pump voltage, then I think section 695.5 does not apply, correct ?
The intended design is to provide service to the fire pump controller directly from the utility company CT enclosure mounted on the exterior of the building.
As for sizing the conductors, they should be based on section 695.6 (A) for the conductors from the CT cabinet to the controller, and 695.6 (C) for the conductors from the controller to the pump, am I correct here ?
