we have a project where the engineer designed the following:
underground feed from utility ground mount transformer to exterior fused disconnect (disconnect is POCO requirement)
Exterior disconnect to exterior CT cabinet
from CT cabinet, conduit goes through wall directly into fire pump room.
Fire pump control panel is to be installed on opposite side of room (approx 15'). Conduit to be routed exposed across the ceiling (12' AFF)
Building is an existing warehouse (Art 700.9(D) does not apply)
Does the exception of 695.6(B) allow the conduit from the CT to the Fire Pump Controller to be EMT?
for a simple one line
POCO disco ------->exterior fused disco (POCO Requirement)------->exterior CT-------->directly into fire pump room------>exposed approx 15' to fire control pump
