Just curious if anyone has pic(s) of conduits(more than one) running through block wall showing the firestopping, thanks.

Anyway if it is new construction and are block walls being built right up to the slab the bricky would leave a slot open if there were several conduits running through the wall in the same area, correct. How is that coordinated with the mason? Thanks

Go to any major Firestop manufacturers website, like 3M, Hilti, or STI, and they should have PDF documents of multiple types of wall penetrations. Typically when multiple conduits go through a fire rated wall, one would use fire bricks to seal around the conduits. If I remember correctly the Hilti part number is CP 617 or 618.

Eta: I did not remember correctly, I think those numbers are for potty pads or the Firestop caulk. The bricks part number is CFS - BL. They run about $20 per brick.

Those are for sealing between the outside of the conduit and the surrounding wall. You still need a Firestop rated for sealing inside of the conduit, if applicable

You're welcome. Also note that on large projects, there may be a fire stop contractor whose sole responsibility is to fire stop all penetrations. They are properly trained in all methods and manners of Fire stop products. It may not even be on the electrical contractor to seal up his penetrations
