I just got my first pool job and there are a few things that are confusing me since i started reading up. Its a 4 foot above ground pool with a pump only, no filter, so i am under the impression it is considered a permanent installation because its greater than 42''. If that stands true than as far as i know I will need my equipotential bonding ring around the pool 4-6'' deep and bonding lug on 4 points, and then 6 feet from the edge of pool i will have a switch, time clock and twist-lock receptacle all GFCI protected. Also the General purpose GFCI between 6-20 feet from edge. My three main questions are
1- can the general purpose GFCI be on the same post as the twistlock ?
2- Does the equipotential bond wire terminate on the ground lug on the pump and connect back to the egc through the cord?
3- Can the timeclock act as a disconnect switch for the pump?

I would appreciate thoughts, i want to make sure i am on the right page and not overlooking anything or doing something necessary. thanks

1. Yes, if the post is 6' or more from the water's edge.
2. Yes. The equipotential grid gets grounded by the EGC in the pump(s) and any 120V light niches.
3. No, most time clocks can't be a disconnect. But the cord-and-plug can be a disconnect.
