hey guys,hope you can find it in your hearts to help one more guy working
to get his ticket.Was looking at Mike's books for exam studies.Which ones
do you guys recommend?I was going to get The combo Understanding
the 2008 NEC vol 1-2 that comes with the exam book.Do you need the
workbooks too? Or just roll with that and the new code book.

With hard work,I plan to be successful on my first try at testing...:grin:

What is your level of experience? And when will you be eligible to take the test?

Just for fun take Mikes free tests. It will tell you where your at.

IMO (in my opinion) if your taking the test any time soon it won't be based on the 08.

I don't have the books you are refering to, but I do have Mike's "Grounding vs. Bonding" and "Changes to the 2005 NEC", both of which are very good, IMHO.

I'm 1/2 way thru school hours.I have completed theory and most of residential.We start motor controls in about six weeks.Just finished a code
quiz today at school.

I have not started OTJ hours so I'm a ways from taking the test.I just have a
a strong desire to do well on the first testing.So my plan is to stay in
the book till I do test.

Study hard,test easy...
