Fishing lines through existing conduit

We put a 100 amp service out to my brothers shop a couple years ago. We used 2" pvc with #2 aluminum conductors. The shop is about 100 feet behind his house. Now he wants a switch inside the house to control a spot light on the shop. Whats the probability we'd be able to fish a couple 12 ga or 14ga conductors in the conduit to run a switch loop. When we originally installed it, we sucked a platic bag through with a string. It worked great but I'm sure it won't work again. And silly me didn't leave a string in there for future use. 100ft of 2" pvc with an elbow on each end. Any chance/advice/strategies/prayers?

With that conduit/wire combo you should be able to push a good fish tape in there easily. If not, pull out the ground wire (attached to a #12 stranded wire or fish tape), then pull it back in along with your new wires.

Or use the x-10;)

I was thinking 2/0s not 2 AWG.

I agree you could fish that with 2 AL in 2".

But ah ... 2 AWG AL needs a 90 amp breaker, I am turning you in.

Your already ilegal as #2 alum is not rated at 100 for a feeder. Would i worry no. Chances of pulling 2 wires is slim to none without damage. Be faster to just pull them out and add your #12's .
Put rope on it and hope the lube has not caked up.
Cheaper way is motion detectors at both ends
