517.13 Grounding of Receptacles and Fixed Electrical
Equipment in Patient Care Areas.
The application is this- in a patient care room there is an undercabinet light, this light is on a normal circuit and wired with regular (blue colored) mc cable which does not satisfy this article. In my eyes I say that the light is a fixed piece of electrical equipment and has to be wired with HCI or (green) MC cable. Since the code has no definition of fixed piece of equipment I still say it is. WHAT DO YOU THINK?????

I would say the lighting is fixed and art. 517.13(A) states that all branch circuits serving patient care areas shall be provided with an effective ground fault....So I am curious why the header just says receptacles and fixed equip.
