fixture mark up ?

Plumbers install fixtures, we install luminaires.
Your mark-up is going to be dependent on what it takes you to get the item. For example, stock items may have a lower mark-up than one you have to order or pick-up. Be ready for a lot of opinions. :)

........100%

One fixture 100% easy, if you are installing more then one, then you can have a discount for quanity, depending on the number, there are no set prices.

If they ask for luminaires, we mark-up 500% for the snobs.

Also watch out for "some assembly required". One thing about materials I give serious consideration to is the likelihood that I'll have to provide warranty on it. If I've ever had a failure with something it gets marked up much more than if it's bulletproof.

Have seen it where the EC failes to mark up the fixtures, trying to get some job, not thinking of warranty work, now our state laws, requires us to supply a 2 year warranty, not marking up eniough can come back to haunt you.
