Fl. qualifications for low voltage exam

Hello
I have been a cable and satellite installer for over 15 years and want to start a Home Theater installation business. Would my prior experience qualify me for the Florida exam ?

Any and all help is greatly appreciated

It may qualify you, that does not give you a license though. Testing is involved.

I truly do not think that a license is required in most areas for what you want to do- if so it may be a ES (class code 069) which is a L.V. system specialist.

barbeer, he doesn't need a license to install the satellite, but to install the wiring inside the house he will. darrell, you need a limited energy license. read through all the info in that link barbeer provided. in ga, you have to have someone w/ the same license sign you off to take the test. i assume fl has something similar.
