Article 110.16 Flash Protection covers all types of electrical distribution that shall require labels for flash protection, but what about a battery cabinet for a UPS system, shouldn't it receive the same respect as a panelboard?

If it makes you sleep better, put the sticker on it. The code is a minimum standard, as you would agree I'm sure.

As far as needing the same respect as a panelboard...I don't know. Does it require examination, adjustment, servicing or maintainance while energized?
