When this stuff first came out, we were installing it in office buildings on re-models and tenant buildouts. The plans called for it and we installed it --believe me -- it is very expensive!! The prices on it, kept going up and up ! We soon realized it was cheaper for us to install a poke-thru --core drill the hole or two holes sometimes (for the feed) and extend power and phone to it than buy the flat wire materials. Somewhere in my warehouse i still have one greenlee gangbox with over $8K of flatwire and flatwire parts!!! It will blow up from any real abuse---like a high heel or a piece of furniture directly on it. And have any kind of water or dampness and it blows. I don't think it is suitable for a home or hospital ! It is a little tricky to install correctly and when you make a mistake- it is costly to correct. With the present cost of copper i should dig that gangbox out !!!!!
