Is it code to have a specific bushing(grounding etc.) when connecting steel or sealtite flex to a motor or xfrmr? Thanks.

If the flex is used for vibration then a wire type EGC is required.
I would recommend a plastic insulating bushing at the motor end, is required depending on wire size

No specific bushing is required unless there are concentric or eccentric KO's involved. I see bonding bushings on transformers every day but they are not required.
