I was inside an Electrical closet today and noticed that there was a feeder ran in flexible conduit into a tenant space 400A board. I opened up the pullbox and found mismatched parallel conductors on the feeder. The original feeder into the gutter is 500mcm and then it was spliced with #2/0 running down 3 floors to the tenant space in 3 1/2 flex conduit.
My question is obviously the mismatched parrallel conductors are a violation. I believe running the feeders inside a flex conduit down 3 floors is also in violation. The Electrical rooms are stacked and there were other installations (not related to this tenant space) that were in flex conduit as well. Could someone point me in the direction of which Article states you can't run the flexible conduit for this kind of feeder run? Thanks.
