Flexible conduit

I know anything that vibrates should be fed with flexible conduit .I found it in the NEIS standard for good construction practice but could not find it in the NEC . We are hooking up a air compressor that sits on pads wanted to find it in the NEC ?????????

You won't find a requirement to wire an air compressor with a flexible wiring method in the NEC. As you said it is a good trade pratice but not an NEC requirement.
