flexible cord legnth limitations

In reviewing article 400, I can not find anything that limits the length of cords for equipment connections. Are there any other articles I should be looking at? I'm planning on using 12/3 w/gnd SO cord about 10' to a sludge grinder motor from a mechanically interlocked twist lock receptacle/disconnect. This is located at a sewage treatment plant in a restriced area where only qualified persons will service the installation.
Am I good to go or do I need to investigate further. If I need to investigate further please give me a hint. :D

Article 400 does not have any length restrictions for use of flexible cord. Article 422 does have some length restrictions for some specific appliances (See 422.16)

I am curious as to which of the conditions for permitted use of flexible cord this motor falls under.
