Flexible Metal Conduit or Liquid Tight Metallic Conduit?

I need to specify a short conduit between a transformer and a distribution panel. I would like to make it a flex conduit. I have three options flexible metal conduit, liquid tight flexible metal conduit, liquid tight flexible non-metallic conduit?

Why would I chose one over the other? Is liquid tight only used outdoors? Why would I choose non-metallic over metallic?

I've been asked to use LFMC over FMC because it looks better after painting. :slaphead:

Can't tell you how many liquid tight flexible metal conduit connections I have seen come apart over the years. If you need it to be liquid tight, use non-metallic IMO.

if it does not need to be liquid tight, use flexible metal conduit.
