need an interpretation on the uses of FMC (a.k.a. greenfield)
I have a situation in a club house on a multi-family apartment complex where I have service disconnects remote from the panels. Due to the 2x6 framing it is not possible to run a rigid type conduit from the disconnects to the panels, because the 90's do not have room to turn in the wall to the building exterior. Going up the outside of the wall in conduit and entering into the attic is out also due to framing issues.
The city will allow the use of romex in the building, so I could use SER for the service feeders, however I need 3/0, and all the local suppliers do not stock such.
The question is, can I use FMC between the disconnects and the panels. The distance is about 30 feet. My first inclination is to say NO, but I would like some input on article 348.
