Can greefeild be ran over 6' if it contains a ground wire?

I forget what Greenfield is but anything can be ran more than six feet with an EGC instead of using the sheath. Securing might be a different question.

"Greenfield" is Flexible Metal Conduit.
"Plen-Flex" is Flexible Metallic Tubing.

The 6' rule is for when you use it for lighting whips without securing it.
I've never heard of a distance limitation for any type of conduit when secured.

(5) Listed flexible metal conduit meeting all the following conditions:
a. The conduit is terminated in fittings listed for grounding.
b. The circuit conductors contained in the conduit are protected by overcurrent devices rated at 20 amperes or less.
c. The combined length of flexible metal conduit and flexible metallic tubing and liquidtight flexible metal conduit in the same ground return path does not exceed 1.8 m (6 ft).
d. Where used to connect equipment where flexibility is necessary after installation, an equipment grounding conductor shall be installed.
