I am to feed and install some recpt's and lights on a floating dock. There is a fixed pier and bridge. I already have a sch 40 PVC conduit at the fixed pier. Since this dock and bridge will have some verticle and horizontal movement I am not certain how to approach this. I thought about using flex at the joints where the movement will occur, and EMT for the non-moving runs? SO cord seems to be the best option, but I am certain I can"t use SO cord?
Also the dock is designed with aluminim channel and the bridge's railing is also a channel. The recpt's will be mounted to the verticle channels on the dock. Can I use these square channels as raceways? Pipe would not look good in this project.
The only moving areas are the pier to bridge and bridge to dock. The dock will have no moving sections. Feedback greatly appreciated.
