Was reading some old post on this subject seems that Floating homes are now under article 555.1 ( floating buildings)

How would as the electrician find the high and low level water of a lake. for 555.3

seems part 2 does. not apply.

part 3 is applies to this setup.
555.52 b. What would be the best set up for flexibility, longevity and. most importably safety.
Seems keeping everything Nonmetallic would be best. So then LFNC would be preferred, though it does allow a feeder to be extra hard usage portable cable. still seems the LFNC would protect better, though the cable will be alot more flexible and not even have a change to separate.

other question is 555.53 states 100 ma Ground fault protection for main overcurrent device, This would be on the meter main on land feeding the home. It give a alternative to protect each circuit and feeder, instead of main overcurrent device.

You still have a feeder from the Main panel on land feeding the home so that still have to have GFCI protection. Unless they saying the panel in the home if everything in that is GFCI protected than the feeder to the home does not need to be I don't see the Alternative being used?

It Says " Ground Fault protection". in 555
Unlike 210.8 "Ground fault circuit interrupter."

555.35 calls out both GFPE and GFCI yet 555.53 does not. looking more into that but had me confused a little..

This site had power lost in the storm so service is completely new and its an old home from the 60's so have to make sure no 3-wire stove or range.

Might be a good idea to look off grid solar maybe?
None of the local EC want to touch it since it not a normal home. guys have his vacation house not usable to 3 years.
