Flooding level for emergency generator location

If the emergency generator installed inside the building, I heard the room contains generators need to its level higher than flooding level, does anyone knows anything about this requirement? Does this only apply for generator room or any electrical rooms inside a building? What is this specific flooding levels? Thanks!

Take a look at 700.9(C) if this is an emergency system.

I would try to keep it above the 500 year flood line. But it may depend on the building type and how important the protection is. I definately wouldn't go below 100-year line
