I just finished taking the Florida EC Business Exam and unfortuneately I did not pass. I got a 70% and needed a 75% to pass. I studied the Tom Henry Business Exam preparation book, and read the Contractors Manual, tabbed and highlighted the entire book. Does anyone know if Mike Holt has a business exam preparation book? If not, any other study materials I could use?

Now that you have taken the exam, I am sure you have a better understanding of what the questions look like and the subject matter they cover.

My only suggestion is to take the exam as soon as you can following this one. Don't put the book down and hit heavy on those sections you felt uncomfortable with or had questions you were unable to answer.

I also believe there are weekend courses available for this portion of the certification exam. Tom Henry has one, and I think England Enterprises does as well....

What parts of the test do you think you were weak on? Gut feelings work pretty well here. Start brushing up on those areas.

Just retake the test asap. Its the same questions, more or less, and you will better understand where to find the answers. If they aren't in the back appendix then look in the front index. If not there pass and go onto the next question. There are some you might spend 20 min finding and some 30 seconds. Prioritise and double check the number your bubbling. Skip what you cant find easily. Its not meant to educate its meant to test whether you can look up and find answers.

You know what they call the guy that graduated at the bottom in there class at Med School?
