I applied to take the Florida EC exam, I was looking at all the reference materials and I don’t really want to spend $100+ on a text that might have one question on the exam, like Design and Control of Concrete Mixtures. So my question is
A. Does anyone have insight on the coverage of some of these fringe subjects on the exam?
B. Does anyone know of any places where these reference materials can be borrowed temporarily?

Thank you.

I don't know what the new test is like but they did have lots of questions outside of the NEC. As I recall, lots of 72, neon, obscure OSHA questions and some concrete questions. It is not an easy test. I recommend having all the books and taking a cramming class (i.e. Classes4Contractors etc.)
