Hello, I currently live in Florida and have an electrical license in Virginia that is current. Looks like Florida has reciprocity for a license IF you are a veteran. I am just starting the application process and I know it is not the easiest. Has anyone used one of the licensing services that do the leg work for you? For example, API? They seem pricey, like $2,000. They say all the fees are included, but I am not sure how much all of the licensing costs and how much is their fee.

Basically, is it worth it or should I just chug through it on my own.

I think I would contact the licensing board in Florida, might be something real simple to do. I have a Florida journeymans license in Tallahassee which is supposed to work everywhere in Florida except for the COUNTRY of Miami-Dade, I took the test even though I have other licenses that also reciprocate. Evansville, Indianna masters was almost the same identical test.
