I am a master electrician in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire. I have a journeyman’s license in Rhode Island. I’ve been licensed for about 10 years and went to trade school and graduated. I’m currently thinking of moving to Florida. Obviously I’m not a millionaire and still have to work. I’m looking to get my master license in Florida. I believe it’s called a certified contractor which allows me to do work in all of Florida. Where as if I just get the equivalent off a journeyman’s license I’d have to get each county. My question is how hard is it to test?? I believe I have enough experience to test but looking through the Florida website as well as Mike Holt website, the information is like reading the code book. Does anyone have any info regarding my situation? Thanks in advance!!!

I passed it the first time after about two months of studying Mike's test guide and I had no experience as a master electrician.

With all those licenses, why aren't you a millionaire by now? :)
