Sorry to hear you failed. I took the test about ten years ago and found using flashcards from one of the test prep companies quite helpful. The set I had included about 60% of the questions on my test--word for word. I think I only had about 10 calculations total, so that was easy.

I'm currently studying the Stallcup's Master Electrician's Study Guide. Most of this book has been a review, but I'm stuck on tables 312.6 (A), and 312.6 (B). Can anyone elaborate on these tables. Being a journeyman I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I'm not sure the difference between them.

Read 312.6., especially (B)(1) and (B)(2). It tells you which to use.

Hi does anybody no once you apply for the florida exam how long does it take to get approved.

Mine took about a month and a half, you can go on ECLB and check the schedule for the boards meetings, they only meet every other month and it is at that time they will give final approval, plus you can follow the updates of this online at myfloridalicense.com

Hunterrick, if you cant afford the whole package, get this book; http://mikeholt.com/productitem.php?id=215&year=2005&from=All&type=Book
Go through it, hi-lite your NEC and answer the questions, by the time your finished you will know the NEC like the back of your hand.
