Florida Unlimited License Exam

I’m about to take the Florida Unlimited License exam.. looking where I should put my focus on.. I have been drilling myself with NEC and fire alarm questions.

What is meant by unlimited? I’m in California do you mean open book license?

Also I would not neglect nec motors and starters plus some pv

The exam is open book.. in Florida they several different types of electrical licenses but unlimited is the top license that allows you to do all types of electrical work.. if anyone has taken it I would appreciate some advise on what to expect.

My state has an exam candidate publication, shows # of questions and how many for each type of certification

I took the Mike Holt FL Unlimited class last year and it was worth the money.

I took Mike Holts at home course for both exams and passed on the first go around. I just kept taking practices exams over and over. It was definitely one of the harder license exams I have taken.

What do you mean by both exams? Aren’t both test for the same journeyman’s license?

I took one class with mike holt but can’t afford school. I’ve been buying books on eBay and studying alone
