Does a flowmeter have a range? or it depends on the flow/rate of the water? I asked my Senior Engineer he told me no range for flowmeter. How can they measure the rate/flow without the range?I'm confuse.

Some types don?t have any output other than local display though.

Depending on what model and type of flow meter or switch it will have plenty of other specifications too. If no other documentation is available most manufacturers will keep records on such if you can supply model & SN same for orifice plate or venturi if applicable.

Glad to help if you can supply manufacturer & model # but you will probably get most of the info needed for this meter from manufacturer.
