I was about to purchase a Fluke 323 Clamp ampmeter, about $110.

I don't need to measure over 200A, 600V

Fluke has a T-5 600 that a fork current clamp, does volts, ohms, for $109
And the T-6 600 that makes measurements with out leads.

Any user comments on these

I have a T-Plus pro its my go to meter.

I think the type of work you do determines the best choice for you.

The T5 only goes up to 100A, you said you wanted 200A

My preference is to use a closed clamp like the 323. I value the ability to hang it on the wire, for longer term monitoring.
It has a 400A capability and TRMS

The T6 is a 200A unit.

I have a T+Pro given to me a while ago, but I have never cracked open the package yet. Maybe I should.

I like a knopp solenoid unit for general voltage testing, rugged, compact, no batteries and loads the circuit to eliminate ghost voltages.
For my field box go to clamp, I use a older Ideal unit similar to the Fluke 232 model. Its a bit more compact and is rugged enough to ride around in the tool box for the last 18 years. Similar to Ideal 61-704, 200A TRMS.

For larger currents and voltages I use a older Beckman meter, with a box full of accessories for specialized needs.

FWIW, I used a LEM HEME.
Up to 1,000A and a 'scope output.
Useful for harmonic analysis.

The T+ is a good meter/tester. The only thing I don’t like is it’s inability to let me know where I last used and set it down. My supplier likes that detail to the tune of at least three of them last year.
