Does the NEC require protective covers of 4' and 8' fluorescent light in an industrial building? :)

Oregon OSHA requires lights within seven feet of the floor or work surface to be protected against breakage. (OAR 437-004-2810) I don't know if the feds or other state OSHA's have similar rules.

Of course, it's quite possible to bust a light that's more than seven feet high if someone gets careless with a ten-foot length of EMT. DAMHIKT.
