What is the difference between conduits Article 360 FMT and Article 348 FMC? Is it only the liquidtight characterisitic of FMT? Is there a common name for FMT similar to the common name of "Flex" for FMC?

FMT is is a flex without the spiral wrap, sort of looks like an accordian. In Chicago we call it Plem Flex, and use it in plenum ceilings for fixture whips.
At least that's what I believe to be true.
