The reason I was asking NJ Cont. what they would charge is I am doing a large addition, upgrade to a sign co. here in N.C. They ask me to price this service for the shopping center sign. A developer in N.J. has bought this shopping center and is doing upgrades to the outside, he wanted the sign co. to provide an elect. and price for a turn key job. But now he thinks my worst case price of $1800.00 is HIGH for being in the south. I know the soil conditions in the area where this is to be done ,red hard clay, but there are other variables that are unclear at this time, distance from sign, accessibility to work area, ect. I just wanted to know a ball park price he would pay if this were in N.J.

Just explain to him it's not cheap living down there, every year you have to buy new couch, and a set of christmas lights for the porch!
NC is growing, and if anything, I would of thought it might be more then Jersey prices.

reason for the question was the difference in prices...

go north of exit 130 on the Garden State Parkway and the job will cost $1800 to $2500

Go south of exit 80 on the Parkway and the job will cost $1000-$1500

I happen to be at exit 105, right in the middle...

and a set of christmas lights for the porch!
normally, we put up a set and it stays there; indefinitely. we just replace bulbs occasionally. however it does take a little money to keep our bug lights going. :D

im in central nc and ill tell you the reason the owner is griping is because all he see's is the 15' to the sign. I think your a little high but thats about where my high number (price not to exeed) would be.
