I wonder what happened to that? Seriously over strap on the back of a flatbed and a lot of heat / sunlight? If it's on the 90% off scratch and dent rack, the apparently good stuff at the bottom would be a good deal.

If you need that much I would bet it could be used up in cut lengths

Best guess(es)
Ran over with a fork lift
Heavy skid set on top of it
Fell off truck and then ran over

I see at least 3 different kinds of PVC and even some EMT. I don't suppose anyone took time to see if it may have been destined for the return aisle????????

My votes are for excessive strapping (someone had their Wheaties before loading the truck) as well as heat.

That's what I had guessed. It's really not a lot of damage in the grand scheme, that little bit of conduit shown there would be a drop in the bucket on most projects. Ive needed 50 sticks of 3 inch PVC just to chase out the first floor of a small hotel for the low voltage.

Eta... Just noticed the copper plumbing pipe in the bottom right of the picture... Interesting. Is that gas piping next to it?

It's the conduit rack in the electrical aisle. My guess is the truck unloaded a variety of pipe goods.

In that case I would buy some of that shiny copper PVC and that shiny metal looking PVC at real PVC prices before anyone was the wiser.:D

Actually, no. I wouldn't. Would be my luck either the rack would collapse on me in the Isle or I get the one cashier that actually knows more about Parts than any of the so-called specialists there.

That looks like a customer ordered pallet, with all the varieties of Pipe & conduit in the picture.
