Foreman Training & Development

We are looking to provide formal supervisory skills training for our Foremen. Can Mike Holt provide a regular article or forum on his website to address this need? Obviously, some of the information presented on Mike Holt's website is useful (code, safety, etc...), but people who run large scale projects need additional skills such as organizing an office, paperwork and office skills, organizing your time, dealing with problem employees, laying out work, etc...
This is a critical need for our industry and there does not seem to be too many resources out there to assist a Journeyman Electrician to make the transition to Foreman.

Any thoughts?

My thoughts are that by the time a person is has enough time into anything to be a foreman, the skills you describe should be innate. I wouldn’t want to have to train someone in organization/ communication skills.

Somethings can be taught, ie, NEC.
Somethings cannot be taught, ie, tact and diplomacy
Somethings involve a learning curve...ie, how your organization handles paperwork, etc...which will differ from company to company (company policy).

IMHO, you can "groom" some people to be foreman, general foreman, supers, etc...others have reached the peak of their career right where they are at.
