Is it OK to use these on stranded wire and receptacles?
Only way I ever hook up stranded to a recept
???
just a thought.. twist strands "counterclockwise" first.
pulls tight around screw, doesn't fan.
Show me one that says I can not.
Can someone show me a device listed for use with fork terminals?
Ditto just about all commercial grade receipts are made and listed for fork and some include ring terminals.Like this one from Hubbell?

To me, even if you get a good twist on the wire and are able to secure it well under the screw, the potential for coming loose because the strands shift is higher than a crimp with a fork connector.

Whenever I see receptacles or switches terminated with forks, I think it looks like either a second career electrician or someone from outside of our trade trimmed it out.
