Question:

In ground pool on the right
Pool pumps and equipment on the left

Fountain will be in the center of all the Pear trees. They dont want a post around the fountain which I was hoping to just plug in the 2 pumps.

Is there a certain distance in the code that we have to have a disconnect or GFI for a fountain pump? I cant find anything.

Also, would it be ok to put a ground level junction box near the fountain and extend that to a post near the Pear tree which is 15 feet away from the center of the fountain.

I plan on using conduit to go from Panel on left to a post near Pear tree.

The disconnect needs to be readily accessible and within sight. 680.13
Check into a pump with a really long cord. They are pretty common https://www.thepondoutlet.com/page_3349_736/hurricane-pumps-by-alpine
Also, if necessary, you can install a breaker lockout on the pump. Manufacturers recommend about a maximum of 150 feet for GFCI protection
Thanks. Unfortunately they ordered the pumps and it comes with a 16 foot cord each. I'll have to splice a connection, maybe do a surface mount junction box near the fountain?

The Panel is 30 feet away but it sounds like I'll be doing a post within sight 10 feet away. Can the pumps be on the load side of the GFI? They dont need a switch, right? And is the breaker 30 feet away in sight be considered a "disconnect"?
