Did anyone catch the scene where the lead guy (I forgot his name) was carrying a box of Raco stuff while they were "demoing" the burned out guard's office?

Good plug for Raco. :D I'm sure it was by accident, but in this day and age of advertising, maybe not?

Thanks, Roger. They're in South Bend, huh. "South Bend: It sounds like dancing." Now where have I heard that before?

Isn't there some small school around that neighborhood. "Our Lady of the Lake," or something?

Nothing in movies/TV is by "accident." (except bloopers :D )All products shown are bought and paid for by the sponsor, in this case Raco.

This info is from a friend who is a producer of TV shows.

Re: Fox Show "Prison Break"

What does Raco make that would appeal to the average TV viewer? My experience with them is j-boxes and such. Seems to me that if you're reaching millions of people (and paying big for the privilege), you'd want to be selling something that would appeal to a broader demographic than electricians.

This is probably why you don't see a lot of ads on TV for Greenlee or Fluke products.

Re: Fox Show "Prison Break"

This is far fetched, but....maybe Prison Break appeals to a large male audience, and out of that audience a large percentage will be electrical professionals. :D

Oh, now that I think of it, there were rolls of Certainteed insulation that were featured on a few shots.

This has to be planned.

Re: Fox Show "Prison Break"

It must be working......
here we are talking about the name Raco, next time at the supply house see if the name Raco doesn't jump into your head ;)

Re: Fox Show "Prison Break"

I'm a "House" guy myself. I like his style. Breeze in, insult everyone's intelligence, misdiagnose something four times before dazzling everyone with your intelligence, limp out the door, roll credits.

He's my hero. :D

Re: Fox Show "Prison Break"

My only TV "must" is West Wing. This coming Sunday, there will be a debate between the presidential candidates, and the actors will perform the debate live!

Re: Fox Show "Prison Break"

For some reason I find I like west wing, even though the politics is very far left of center. I find it humorous and somewhat insightful that on the show a very liberal republican managed to get himself nominated. Something that would be near impossible other than in the wild imagination of Hollywood.

It is interesting to watch though since it does occassionally show the far left's view of the world fairly openly, something they usually try to hide since most of the country does not support it.
