I'm considering using a Cutler Hammer retrofit for commercial FPE
3/PH 225 amp main lug panels. I have approval from the local inspector. The only caveat is removing the studs inside the FPE enclosure. The primary reason behind using the retrofit was not removing the box due to conduits entering top and bottom including 2.5in feeder pipe. The studs screw in from behind and the box. The box will not pull away enough to loosen them. Any bright ideas?? I have 8 of these panel that need replacing or retrofitting.
