I have been looking for a FRC uninsulated utility vest made with Nomex preferably. Anyone know of anything out there? I have been searching the web and so far everything I have found either has limited pocket space and/or is insulated. Looking for something that I can wear around the plant (refinery) in the summer and carry my stuff- radio, crescent, screwdriver, magnifying glass, pens, markers, flagging ribbon, tape measure, etc. Found a couple of decent "tool vests" but nothing in FRC :?

I have a ATPV 56.3 (HR4) vest with pockets from Carhartt. It ain't light.
I also got a ATPV 12.4 (HR2) lab coat from Aramark that is lighter. It has 4 pockets.
I don't know what rating you are looking for.

You could get an HR1 or 2 shirt (assuming you are wearing the proper level already), cut the sleeves off, use the sleeve material to add pockets. Remember to use Nomex or equivalent thread. I buy Nomex thread from racing supply catalogs
