Free Book, whats the catch?

ESA is Canadian, but with most "free" eBooks, you're given more of a pamphlet which normally has enough information to make you want to spend money on whatever it is they're selling.

It's 130 pages. That would take you to 300.5 in the 08 NEC.

Click on the Table of Contents, looks like alot of info. But I'll bet I would get bombarded with mail and E-mails.

In that case, set up a shell yahoo or gmail email account, get the book, and never look back. The future potential for spam has never dissuaded me from ordering a free eBook. Might not learn anything, but even if you gain one little nugget, it's worth it, in my opinion.

This line is enough to convince me not to participate:
By registering you have opted to receive updates from ESA and Graphic Products.
You don't even get the opportunity to opt out of getting spammed.

The spam isn't too bad, I actually bought a label printer from them for a previous employer and I still get an email every second month from them. I bought a Duralabel 4 label printer, in case anyone cares. I don't remember downloading this publication though.

I asked them to send me a copy by email so i could disseminate it, and they actually did. If anyone wants a copy, PM with your email address and I will send it to you. it looks pretty good but I have not read it yet.

I signed up. if the spam gets offensive I will just tell outlook and it will get directed to my junk mail folder.

But the catch is.... who else are they going to sell your address to?
