I received an email from UL's Ultimate email system yesterday with the following:

Learn why many consider the UL White Book as Part 2 of the NEC and without a UL White Book, it is very difficult to determine compliance with the Code.

Originally the link didn't work, so I cut and pasted it into the browser.

Great hands on course, I learned a lot. There is a link to the PDF of the white book at the beginning of the presentation so you can easily folllow along and the last slide tells you how to order a free hard copy.

Everyone needs to know about the White Book but not many people do.
Wait till the day that your inspector pulls it out and you blindly stare at him not knowing what he is talking about.

Nice entry to the site.

I have been teaching and supporting the use of the UL White Book for years. Prior to my knowledge of it ever existing, I was in the dark like so many who are not aware of it today.
With the advent of the internet, there is no reason one cannot have a copy ready for use.
